Where Photography, Writing and Storytelling Meet

Treat your students and staff to an unforgettable author visit with award-winning wildlife photographer and author Michael Patrick O’Neill.

A gifted speaker, Michael takes audiences on thrilling real-life adventures — from swimming with great white sharks to photographing jaguars in the Brazilian rainforest.

He is the author of nine nonfiction ocean books and a world-renowned photographer whose work has been featured in National Geographic, BBC, Discovery Channel, The New York Times, and many other leading outlets.

His images have won some of photography’s highest honors, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, World Press Photo, and Pictures of the Year.

Michael’s presentations focus on storytelling with images and words. He explains how he creates his photo essays, writes his books, and develops magazine articles — all in a simple, fun way that students of all ages can understand and enjoy.

“The students and faculty said it was the best presentation we've ever had! Thank you for spending the day with us and sharing some of your adventures."
